This was taken last night when my sweetie and I were at dinner at Kabuto's (Japanese Steak House). I had a bit more to drink than he did so that is why i look a bit crazed. We had a great day. I love spending time with him. Happy New Year, Babe!

Not only is the Poe Museum a great place for a cheap date, but its one of the oldest landmarks in Richmond.
My cousin and his wife were married there, too!
One of my all time favorites is the Main Street Station. Thank goodness they renovated it so now it is in use. The clock tower can be seen from interstate 95 heading North. I love passing by it as a child as seeing the clock read the correct time. It is as faithful as Big Ben, but sized just right for Richmond.

One of my favorite songs from this CD (since now I just purchase by the song from iTunes, is this one) called Last Name. I know some of you may not love country music, but this song is just too funny to not love!
Show us your favorite method of transportation.
Roller Skates......found on Flick (Lauren*H's),,,,,it is one of the best and easiest things to do. And, it is fun. I love to roller skate. I have not done it in years...to be honest. But, regardless if the last time I did roller skate yesterday or when i was 10, it really is the best mode of transportation. Easy to make and easy to do....so it's a no brainer!

They have been a sad testament of what technology use to be and how much it has changed. I really feel out of place since all of my family members have up to date computer items. New screens, new mice, new computers. And, here I am with my computer I have had since before college. I really want to upgrade but I would rather save my money and use it elsewhere....for something better.
Obviously, my sweetie had other plans. I was so excited when he told me that he had gotten them for me. Can you believe it!! What a great man! Thinking about me always!!
Anyone else out there have someone give them a new techie-type gift??

I choose this song since we broke up so long ago and got back together after seeing our lives a part was really hard for both of us to endure. We really do appreciate everything that happened while we were a part since we now value each other so much. This song makes me think of him. After it all, our love remains the same....after being pushed away (and doing some pushing away myself), our love has grown, but it also stayed the same. It never lessened. It only made me appreciate him more than ever. I want him for the long haul!
